Significativa visita a Camogli dei partecipanti BP Castrol all'annuale Technical Global Meeting. Il gruppo ha visitato nei giorni dal 27 al 31 Ottobre varie aziende genovesi, tra cui Fincantieri, Rina e Navalimpianti. La BP Castrol è dal 2006 donatrice della Società Capitani e Macchinisti Navali, sostenendo così le iniziative rivolte al mantenimento della nostra tradizione marinara.

A Camogli, il gruppo di 70 persone, di cui facevano parte il Global Technology Manager, Sig. Andrew Pool, la Account Manager, Sig.na Dawn Rivers ed il Technical ROU Manager, Mr. Dimitris Katsieris, ha visitato il Civico Museo Marinaro "G.B.Ferrari". Il coordinamento dell'evento è stato curato dal Technical Manager BP Castrol e Socio, Sig. Andrea Olivari. Erano inoltre presenti il Direttore del Museo, Com.te Bruno Sacella ed il V.Presidente della Società Capitani e Macchinisti Navali, Bruno Malatesta, che ha dato il benvenuto ai partecipanti con una breve introduzione di Camogli, i suoi Capitani ed i reperti del Museo.
La visita a Camogli dei rappresentanti BP Castrol si è conclusa con una piacevole passeggiata nel pittoresco centro storico.

During the Technical Global Meeting of 2008, 70 representatives of BP Castrol visited Camogli. Since October 27 until October 31, the group also visited significant maritime companies at Genoa, such as Fincantieri, Rina and Navalimpianti.
BP Castrol is, since 2006, donor of the Society of Ship Captains and Naval Engineers of Camogli and just because of this important link, on Wednesday, October 29, the representatives visited the City Maritime Museum "G.B. Ferrari".
They were welcomed by the Museum Director, Capt. Bruno Saccella and by the V.President of the Society, Bruno Malatesta. The group was leaded by the Global Technology Manager, Mr. Andrew Poole and beside the others, there were the Account Manager, Miss Dawn Rivers and the Technical ROU Manager, Mr. Dimitris Katsieris. The Technical Manager Mr. Andrea Olivari, who is a member of our Society, coordinated the delighful event. The trip to Camogli ended up with a pleasant walk around the picturesque downtown.
